Your home could be costing you hundreds of dollars every year due to heat loss. Poor insulation is one of the leading causes of heat loss. You can cut your heating costs by up to 25% by re-insulating your home! Keep The Heat with Blown-In-Blanket and Blown-In-Batt insulation installed by Garside Insulation, Inc.

Re-Insulating Existing Homes

If your home wasn't built in the last decade, chances are it's one of the many homes in the United States that are under insulated.

Homes that are not insulated to today's energy standards can suffer from substantial heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer, forcing your heating and cooling systems to work overtime, wasting precious energy dollars. We recommend the use of CertainTeed OPTIMA fiberglass blown insulation for wall spaces in exisiting homes, and CertainTeed InsulSafe SP fiberglass blown insulation for use in large open areas such as attics. Both offer excellent insulation value and cost effectiveness.

At Garside Insulation we specialize in insulating your older home. For sidewalls and other tight spaces we use CertainTeed OPTIMA dry-blown insulation, which offers one of the highest R-Values in the industry. For large open spaces, such as an attic, we use CertainTeed InsulSafe SP blown insulation, which offers a more cost effective solution when space is not a concern.

Both OPTIMA and InsulSafe SP are non-combustible, non-corrosive and odor free and because both products are made from fiber glass they won't rot or decay and are pest resistant.

Our crew takes special care to insure that we insulate every nook and cranny in your walls or attic. And when we're done insulating your home, we go the extra mile and make sure that we don't leave behind any unsightly mess.

Non-Asbestos Insulation Removal

Sometimes it is necessary to have insulation removed from your walls, attic or floors. This can be a messy task, especially if the insulation has been exposed to moisture, insects or vermin. Our crew can remove your old, non-asbestos, insulation quickly and with as little mess as possible.

"...The day after the work was done I came into the kitchen and was struck by the odd sensation that I did not have to heat up the wood stove. Even more remarkable is the fact that, even with the high winds of the past two days, I can work in the kitchen and not feel a draft coming through the walls..."

James D., Bangor

"...The work they did was terrific, and already we have noticed a difference--the furnace doesn't run all the time..."

Matthew D., Old Town

"Your crew was great - careful, personable and professional. We will probably need more done and will surely call you when we are ready."
