If your home wasn't built in the last decade, chances are it's one of the many homes
in the United States that are under insulated.
Homes that are not insulated to today's energy standards can suffer from substantial
heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summer, forcing your heating and cooling
systems to work overtime, wasting precious energy dollars.

At R.L. Garside we specialize in insulating your older home. For sidewalls and other
tight spaces we use CertainTeed OPTIMA dry-blown insulation, which offers one of
the highest R-Values in the industry. For large open spaces, such as an attic, we
use CertainTeed InsulSafe SP blown insulation, which offers a more cost effective
solution when space is not a concern.
Both OPTIMA and InsulSafe SP are non-combustible, non-corrosive and odor free and because
both products are made from fiber glass they won't rot or decay and are pest resistant.

Our crew takes special care to insure that we insulate every nook and cranny in
your walls or attic. And when we're done insulating your home, we go the extra mile
and make sure that we don't leave behind any unsightly mess.
|

Sometimes it is necessary to have insulation removed from your walls, attic or floors. This can be a messy task, especially if
the insulation has been exposed to moisture, insects or vermin. Our crew can remove your old, non-asbestos, insulation
quickly and with as little mess as possible.

Many of our customers have seen immediate and dramatic changes after installing blown
insulation in their homes. Here are what a few of them had to say:
"...The day after the work was done I came into the
kitchen and was struck by the odd sensation that I did not have to heat up the wood
stove. Even more remarkable is the fact that, even with the high winds of the past two
days, I can work in the kitchen and not feel a draft coming through the walls..."
James D., Bangor
"...The work they did was terrific, and already we
have noticed a difference--the furnace doesn't run all the time..."
Matthew D., Old Town
